Huskies Path To Victory #1 Just Got A Little Easier

Does this picture bring back any memories? This is BYU's all-time leading rusher Harvey Unga who torched a hapless Husky defense in 2008 for 136 yards on 23 carries, as well as 40 yards recieving.

After breaking the schools honor code (Which prohibits drinking alcohol and sex outside of marriage) this spring, Unga withdrew himself from school and began the reapplication process hoping to be able to re-enroll in time for fall semester so he could play football this season.

Alas, the stars did not align for Unga, and the school came back and told him he would not be accepted until January, well after the football season ended. Good for BYU for sticking to their guns, because they've just made things a little easier for the Huskies.

Here is an article from The Salt Lake Tribune detailing everything that went down.

  1. Unga wasn't that good, he was a big, slow, plodding runningback. The only reason he did anything was because we had the worst coaching staff in the country the last time we played. Dawgs 45 Cougs 20, count on it!
